Cambridge Resthaven, Community Charitable Trust (100% Cambridge Owned) providing support and care to Cambridge Community for over 44 years, sits amid established trees next to the greenbelt in one of the Waikato’s most attractive towns. Resthaven village enjoys great views of the countryside and Cambridge’s shops and cafes are just a 10 minute stroll away.
Resthaven has worked hard to ensure it can offer a full range of accommadation to suit everyones needs. One, two and three bedroom properties (many with garages) are available. The properties have been built over a 25 year period, our latest development at the Views on Vogel meets current demand. The more estabilised areas are The Close, The Court and The Gardens. We also offer supported living apartments within the facility. Three of the properties situated in The Gardens are available for rent. All other properties are under an Occupation Right Agreement basis. Resthaven Village employs a Village Co-ordinator, a Village Manager, a Village Nurse and maintenance personel to visit village 'folks' regularly, in all areas of the Village (The Court, The Close, The Gardens and Views-on Vogel) to offer assistance and support as required. Optional additional services are available, along with a list of user pays services if more support and care is required. Cambridge Resthaven also has single (many with ensuites) and double rooms for couples available for rest home and hospital level care, plus a dedicated 20-room wing for residents living with dementia. We also are able to provide a number of day programmes on campus and at Magnolia lounge (our day programme facility within the Cambridge Community) plus respite care.
Community spirit is important at Cambridge Resthaven, as demonstrated by our monthly social calender. Regular resident meetings and nurses clinics are held at the village, and shopping trips take place twice weekly. We are currently building a dedicated community centre, which will include a bloke’s shed, gym, pool and a hobby room.
Cambridge Resthaven community offers residents and their family a range of services to ensure quality of life as their need for support increases. For more information, please make an enquiry.
