Clawton Masonic Village is made up of 20 villas and is located just a few minutes from New Plymouth city, in the suburb of Westown. Westown centre offers residents the conveniences of a post office, local shops, cafes & restaurants among other services. There is also a nearby doctors' surgery.

The Trust’s villages are quality retirement communities that operate on the charitable and benevolent principles that lie at the core of Freemasonry. Because the villages are smaller than those provided by commercial operators, residents maintain their individuality.
