Lochlea Lifestyle Resort is located in the charming rural Canterbury town of Ashburton. The village is close to the local shopping centre, golf club, and one of the country’s top racecourses, and just 80 kilometres from both Christchurch and Timaru.
The secure gated community of Lochlea Lifestyle Resort will eventually contain more than 100 villas. Our two and three bedroom homes are positioned to catch the sun, with landscaped gardens and lawns, and attached garaging. The spacious villas are well insulated with double-glazed, tinted glass throughout to ensure comfort in both winter and summer. All our homes are wheelchair accessible and connected to our 24-hour emergency call system. An 80-bed hospital is also being constructed at Lochlea Lifestyle Resort, which will include aged care and dementia units.
Our luxury lifestyle complex is built on just over six hectares of land. At the heart of the resort sits Lochlea Lodge, home to the village’s impressive recreational facilities. These include a heated indoor swimming pool and spa, gymnasium, craft room, library, lounge and bar. Residents also have access to bowling and putting greens, a croquet court and barbecue area. A village van is on hand for other outings, and for those who enjoy fishing, Ashburton is boarded by two exceptional salmon and trout fishing rivers.
