An established part of the local community, Whitianga has a close-knit team of caring staff who work hard to make sure residents and their families feel at home.

We don’t have visiting hours at Whitianga because we know it’s important you stay connected to your community. We’re conveniently located just minutes from the town centre, making it easy for friends and family to pop by, or take you out and about.

A scenic drive through the countryside, shopping trips or picnics in the park, there’s an exciting new destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re into, enjoy some me-time listening to your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme.

Types of accommodation
Standard rooms
Standard rooms are large enough for a single bed, a chair and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by the DHB.
Premium rooms
Premium rooms have additional features such as more space, an ensuite bathroom or outdoor access, but you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features.
