Summerset Rototuna is a new retirement village and care home located in north Hamilton. There are 264 homes and a state-of-the-art care centre and memory care centre.
The care home offers modern, high-quality accommodation. Serviced apartments are spacious and feature a double bedroom, ensuite, separate living area with kitchenette, and ample storage. Care rooms are warm and comfortable, with space for a television, chair, and some small pieces of furniture. All accommodation is Ministry of Health certified for rest home level care, and care rooms are also certified for hospital level care.
The memory care centre at Summerset Rototuna has single-bedroom apartments specifically for residents with dementia, as well as secure indoor and outdoor communal areas. The memory care centre is Ministry of Health certified to provide rest home level secure dementia care.
