Bainswood House offers comprehensive care for people at many stages of the retirement journey within a positive and welcoming community. Established in 1985 and set in lush, tranquil gardens with churches and shops close by, Bainswood offers residents the facilities to maintain an independent lifestyle within a safe village-style community.

The village offers three levels of care to its community. There are four contemporary, low-maintenance villas for independent living and 14 serviced apartments, each with a living area, kitchenette and ensuite bedroom. Finally, if and when you require more care, Bainswood House has 26 rest home beds, with single or shared rooms, to continue your care in familiar surroundings.

Pastoral care is a vital part of the mix at Bainswood House, and staff are available 24-hours a day. The village has its own library, an on-site hairdresser and an in-house podiatrist. There’s wifi available throughout and a comprehensive activity programme for those who enjoy getting together.

Bainswood House is part of the three-strong Rangiora Lifecare group, and village residents have priority access to the other homes should their care needs change during their stay. Contact Rangiora Life Care today if you’re looking for a village with a caring, close community in Rangiora (just 30 minutes from Christchurch Airport).
