Summerset by the Sea

Summerset by the Sea is a care home positioned across the water to Matakana Island, with stunning views and a relaxing sea breeze to greet you every day. This peaceful care home is designed to make the most of the temperate Bay of Plenty climate.

Care accommodation comes in the form of three room types (standard, premium or deluxe). Each type of care room has space for a television, chair, and some small items of furniture – and all are Ministry of Health certified.

There’s a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities to keep residents entertained, including a cafe and a well-stocked library. An activities coordinator also keeps the calendar full with events catering for a variety of interests.

There are six levels of care available: supported living, supported living plus, premium care, rest home care, hospital care, and short term & respite care (subject to availability).
