The Sands offers a range of studio and one-bedroom Care Suites, so you can choose the size and layout that best suits your lifestyle. Our one-bedroom Care Suites are large enough for couples, so you can stay together whilst receiving the care you both need.

We don’t have visiting hours at The Sands because we know it’s important you stay connected to your community. Just like at home, friends and family can join you anytime for a cuppa and a catch-up, and with the Northern Motorway close by, it’s a breeze for visitors to pop in or take you out and about to local cafes, shops and restaurants.

It’s easy to fill your day at The Sands. Our team will get to know you to find out how you like to spend your time, so that they can help you fill your day with the things you love to do. Our activities calendar is packed with a variety of group and solo pursuits, so you can choose what you feel like doing. Hop in our van to explore an exciting new destination each week or enjoy some me-time listening to your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme.
